Indeed
So, been unemployed for a while and in and out of freelance situations. Same old situation. Right now, I'm working seven hours a week at yogaworks for $10/hour and getting $100/month to do a once a month gig at the Living theater. How am I living? Good question. I'm not sure. What I do know is that I won't be able to hold on much longer if things continue this way.
But in other news, I host an open mic at HiChristina's every Thursday at 9 pm. Right now it's mostly dudes showing up, so, I've been asking women to be feature performers to encourage women to show up. So far I have two great features lined up in August. As it is not many folks are showing up for Uzi's Open. If things don't turn around with the turn out, I might just quit it.
A lot of things in life right now are feeling like, what's the point?
I seriously lost it on face chat with TT and told him that I want to die. I really want to feel like a valued human being on the planet. But, apparently, according to all of the employers who have turned me down as of the last three years, I am not qualified.
